摘要: Acute bronchiolitis is a common, potentially life-threatening condition with few therapeutic options. In the present randomized study, we compared clinical efficacies of nebulized epinephrine and salbutamol in emergency room management acute bronchiolitis. Primary outcome measures were improvement mean respiratory rate, oxygen saturation value severity score. Secondary length hospital stay, hospitalization relapse rates. A total 75 patients analyzed (36 epinephrine, 39 salbutamol). Both groups experienced similar pattern improvement. Hospitalization rates 8.3% for 5.1% (p > 0.05), whereas 80% 20% < 0.001). Respiratory syncytial virus was most common identified (41%). We did not find difference between terms improvement, but can be drug choice due to its lower epinephrine.
