摘要: Abstract The aims of the present study were (i) to assess in vitro genetic stability S19 and RB51 Brucella abortus vaccines strains (ii) evaluate ability multiple- locus variable-number tandem repeat (VNTR) analysis (MLVA) as a tool be used quality control live against brucellosis. Sixty-three batches commercial ( n  = 53)  = 10) vaccines, produced between 2006 2009, this study. obtained from, respectively, seven two different manufacturers. Ten serial passages performed on reference selected vaccines. All batches, typed by MLVA16. results demonstrated that B. vaccine are genetically stable very homogeneous their respective groups. Anyway, from one manufacturer another presented genotypes distincts strains. In both cases, differences found Bruce07, which had addition unit case deletion batches. summary, MLVA16 proved molecular capable discriminating small genomic variations should included official tests.
