Preparation, properties, and structural evolution of a novel polyborosilazane adhesive, temperature-resistant to 1600 °C for joining SiC ceramics

摘要: Abstract A liquid polyborosilazane was synthesised by modifying polymethylsilane with borazine, and a novel organic adhesive resistant to temperature of 1600 °C prepared using matrix aluminium powder as filler. The properties structural evolution the obtained adhesives were investigated shear strength test, thermogravimetry–differential scanning calorimetry, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy. results show that via dehydrogenation between borazine. ceramic yield treated up 1200 °C reached 82.6 wt%. By adding active filler, increased 93.0 wt%. In addition, exhibits good bonding excellent resistance. At room temperature, SiC joints bonded at showed 7.9 MPa. high outstanding heat-resistance polyborosilazane, its modification powder, facilitate ideal high-temperature adhesive.
