摘要: Abstract This paper describes a technique to find the optimal harvesting policy for Lotka-Volterra ecosystem of two interdependent populations when harvest rate is proportional effort and either single stock selectively harvested or both stocks are together. A problem that yields this Chaudhuri's ( Ecol. Model. , 41: 17–25, 1986) previously unsolved competing species. The solution reveals even if species would coexist in absence harvesting, one may be driven extinction by it sufficiently more catchable than other. It suggested widely applicable ecological modelling, other recent applications described.
