摘要: Abstract Alumina-supported manganese catalysts with loadings ranging from 3.9 to 18.2 wt.% were prepared and tested in the combustion of formaldehyde/methanol mixture an air stream. All achieved total temperature range 150–230 °C activity increased increasing loading. The 18.2% Mn/Al2O3 catalyst produced at 220 °C, but this is decreased 90 °C when 0.1% Pd incorporated catalyst. characterised by X-ray diffraction (XRD), programmed reduction (TPR) photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). These techniques pointed out that MnO2 Mn2O3 phases are present on surface calcined oxidation ability these appears be responsible for activity. Activity enhanced small amounts highest Mn-loading (18.2% Mn/Al2O3).
