摘要: Multilocular renal cyst is a distinct tumor whose gross external appearance and absence of normal tissue within the septa loculi distinguish it clearly from other cystic lesions. Interlocular may contain either (1) fibrous alone or (2) embryonic separating adjacent loculi. Of 29 patients with multilocular cysts, 24 underwent renal-sparing procedure, only 5 had radical nephrectomy. None histologic specimens showed evidence immature neoplasia. Patients were followed three months to eight years (mean, 39 months), no local recurrence metastatic disease was found. Because difficult Wilms multicystic clear cell carcinoma on basis imaging studies alone, surgical intervention effective method differentiate malignant lesion kidney.
