摘要: Members of the extended Fc receptor-like (FCRL) family in humans and mice are preferentially expressed by B cells possess tyrosine-based immunoregulatory function. Although majority these proteins repress cell receptor-mediated activation, there is an emerging evidence for their bifunctionality capacity to counter-regulate adaptive innate signaling pathways. In light findings, recent discovery ligands several molecules has begun reveal exciting potential them normal lymphocyte biology launching a new phase FCRL investigation. Importantly, fundamental developments also setting stage defining altered roles pathogenesis growing number immune-mediated diseases. Here we review advances field highlight significance intriguing receptors perturbed immunobiology.
