摘要: It is now known that many enzymes can function as biocatalysts in, or in contact with, various organic solvents (1-5). As a result, such be considered for different applications not previously thought to possible solvents. Approaches taken with this type of biocatalytic system have included the use immobilized (6), particulates (7), micelles (8), an aqueous phase (6). These are effective ways using some providing reaction carried out liquid phase. However, if enzyme must interact solid substrate, coal phase, it desirable present media soluble form, since direct molecular interactions requirement. Some minimal solubility polar organics, especially those contain water (9). there only limited nonhydrous, solvents, proteinaceous molecules primarily hydrophilic. may modify chemically increase hydrophobicity and, thus, solubilization while maintaining catalytic activity. Several methods been studied
