Organ-specific Antibodies in Patients with Lichen Sclerosus

摘要: Organ-specific antibodies were looked for in 26 patients with lichen sclerosus. Ten of the 25 female (40%) had organ-specific to thyroid cytoplasm and 11 (44%) gastric parietal cells. Both values significantly greater than those obtained age-matched controls. None sera from sclerosus contained steroid-producing tissues. No found one male patient. The findings suggest that may be related an autoimmune process.
