摘要: Postoperative ascites (POA) is the most common complication after liver surgery for hepatocarcinoma (HCC), but its impact on survival not reported. The aim of study to investigate overall (OS) and disease-free (DFS), secondarily identify factors that may predict occurrence. Data were collected from 23 centers participating in Italian Surgical HCC Register (HE.RC.O.LE.S. Group) between 2008 2018. POA was defined as ≥500 ml drainage surgery. Survival analysis conducted by Kaplan Meier method. Risk adjustment Cox regression risk mortality recurrence. Among 2144 patients resected HCC, 1871(88.5%) did experience while 243(11.5%) had complication. Median OS NO-POA group reached, it 50 months (95%CI = 41–71) those with (p < 0.001). independently increased (HR 1.696, 95%CI 1.352–2.129, p Relapse predicted occurrence POA.
