摘要: In recent decades biologists studying speciation have come to consider that the process does not necessarily require presence of a geographical barrier. Rather, it now seems be possible for reproductive barriers evolve within what was hitherto single ‘‘species.’’ The intertidal snail Littorina saxatilis has been focus considerable amount work in this context, and is thought as good case study ‘‘ecological speciation.’’ We review some briefly prospects future developments.
