摘要: Dynamic hydrogels undergo structural changes in response to specific external stimuli, and the modification is accompanied by physical chemical properties of hydrogel. The ability alter these a controllable manner has allowed be employed diverse set biomedical applications: targeted drug delivery, tissue engineering, molecule sensing, autonomous control devices. Temperature, pH, ligand binding are some environmental cues that have been used trigger hydrogels. stimuli work altering balance intermolecular intramolecular forces, such as hydrogen bonding hydrophobic interactions, between chains hydrogel solvent. In cases, conformational change reversible, while for other mechanisms, polymer structure irreversibly altered. A variety polymers, peptides, nanoparticles create responsive availability range materials allows tailored application interest. This chapter reviews historical development dynamic hydrogels, discusses various mechanisms which take place, presents select applications where being employed.
