摘要: Analysis of summer monsoon (June to September) rainfall series 29 subdivisions based on a fixed number raingauges (306 stations) has been made for the 108-year period 1871–1978 interannual and long-term variability rainfall. Statistical tests show that sub-divisions are homogeneous, Gaussian-distributed do not contain any persistence. The highest lowest normal 284 26 cm observed over coastal Karnataka west Rajasthan respectively. (range) varies different sub-divisions, being 55 231% rainfall, south Assam Saurashtra Kutch High spatial coherency is between neighbouring sub-divisions; northeast region northern peninsular Indian oppositic correlation tendency. Significant change in mean six noticed. Correlogram spectrum analysis presence 14-year QBO cycles few sub-divisional series.
