摘要: Background Over 70% of older adults in the United States are overweight or obese. To examine overall health burden obesity adults, Vitamins and Lifestyle cohort study western Washington State recruited 73,003 aged 50 to 76 who completed a self-administered questionnaire on current height weight, medical history, risk factors. Methods Cross-sectional analysis body mass index (BMI) conditions was performed using data collected 2000 2002. Participants were categorized as normal overweight, obese I, II/III BMI cut-points.
