摘要: The presence of space charge is thought to play a significant role in determining the electric field distribution an insulating material such as polyethylene. present paper focuses on relation between atomic defects and formation. ability trap electrons model investigated using density functional theory calculations. A set physical defects, chemical impurities additives commonly found polymeric insulators used for high-voltage cable insulation are considered. From electron affinity material, trapping energies computed.
