摘要: Genetic modification of plants by man have been and continue to be central our development efficient agriculture. Natural genetic barriers, however, established limits on manipulations possible extend rearrangements for enhanced productivity. In order overcome these natural engineering has long a goal plant breeders geneticists. The early work was controversial. It will not reviewed here since recent developments made the controversy mute. (For historical perpective see 19,20 references therein.)
