摘要: Objective. To assess the effects of chronic knee pain on neural control nearby quadriceps muscle. Methods. Motor-evoked potentials (MEP) in response to transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) motor cortex, maximal M responses, patellar tendon and EMG activity during isometric contraction were recorded from right vastus medialis oblique (VMO) lateralis (VL) muscles 13 patients with patellofemoral syndrome (PPS) healthy volunteers. MEP responses also extensor digitorum brevis (EDB) Results. amplitudes VMO VL larger PPS than controls.
