摘要: Cross-polarized wave (XPW) generation is used for the contrast improvement of ultra-intense femtosecond laser pulses in a double CPA configuration. We present theoretical and experimental evidence that XPW output spectrum depends predictable way on input chirp. Therefore, chirp controlled pulse can experience duration shortening up to factor \(\sqrt{3}\), an initial amount leads exact preservation spectral width given be predicted.
