摘要: Abstract Magnetic records obtained from November 1955 to June 1957 at Ibadan, Nigeria, have been analysed harmonically for lunar and luni-solar variations. The results are statistically significant. L-variations in H Z abnormally large Ibadan. L-variation is comparable with that of Huancayo about three times greater than other observatories geographic latitude. larger any previously reported. These explained as the effect equatorial electrojet. ratio S L small Ibadan Huancayo. equally (Ibadan happens be near latitude where electrojet a maximum ( Onwumechilli , 1959). Chapman(1913) expression fully confirmed all aspects.
