Maternal and umbilical cord serum interleukin levels in preterm labor with clinical chorioamnionitis

摘要: OBJECTIVE: Our purpose was to determine whether interleukin-1β, interleukin-6, and the soluble receptor for interleukin-2 levels in maternal umbilical cord sera differed among patients with without clinical chorioamnionitis delivered prematurely. STUDY DESIGN: Between February November 1992, 32 women who were between 20 36 weeks' gestation enrolled a prospective study of receptor, interleukin-6 serum. Cytokines measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Chorioamnionitis identified presence markers 12 patients. RESULTS: Soluble concentrations serum significantly higher than those (median 400 U/ml, range 100 2100 U/ml vs median 275 1300 p r = 0.752, CONCLUSIONS: This demonstrates that preterm labor chorioamnionitis, IL-2 are increased compared chorioamnionitis.
