摘要: We present data from detailed observations of CityWall, a large multi-touch display installed in central location Helsinki, Finland. During eight days installation, 1199 persons interacted with the system various social configurations. Videos these encounters were examined qualitatively as well quantitatively based on human coding events. The convey phenomena that arise uniquely public use: crowding, massively parallel interaction, teamwork, games, negotiations transitions and handovers, conflict management, gestures overt remarks to co-present people, "marking" for others. analyze how availability is achieved through learning negotiation, why interaction becomes performative and, finally, restructures space. feature, gesture-based physical size contributed differentially uses. Our findings organization use displays can be useful designing such systems urban environments.
