摘要: This study is aimed at investigating effects of varying the compression ratio optimum injection timing and nozzle opening pressure on behaviour a diesel engine, using non-petroleum fuel, i.e. blend 80% biodiesel, 20% oil obtained from pyrolysis waste tyres. The engine was subjected to one lower (16.5) higher (18.5) in addition standard 17.5. At 18.5 full load, shorter ignition delay, maximum cylinder heat release rate were found for blend, compared those original ratio. increase 17.5 improved brake thermal efficiency by about 8% that load. experimental results indicated 18.5, specific carbon monoxide (BSCO), hydrocarbon emission (BSHC) smoke opacity reduced 10.5%, 32%, 17.4% respectively, than
