摘要: Vehicles with alternative drive trains are regarded as a promising substitute for conventional cars, considering the growing concern about oil depletion and environmental impact of our transportation system. However, “clean” technologies will only be viable when they cost-efficient. In this paper, impacts financial costs different vehicle calculated an average Belgian driver. Environmentally friendly vehicles compared petrol diesel vehicles. The assessments done from life cycle perspective. effect on human health, resources ecosystems is considered calculating impact. total cost ownership (TCO) model includes purchase price, registration road taxes, insurance, fuel or electricity cost, maintenance, tires replacement, technical control, battery leasing replacement. presented analysis fuels (petrol, diesel, hybrid electric (HEVs), (BEVs) plug-in (PHEVs)) their level per kilometer. shows lower have higher to vehicles, even though operating significantly lower. highly linked size pack, not vehicle. This explains relative high city cars comparable medium premium cars.
