Synthesis of multiwalled carbon nanotubes on Cu-Fe nano-catalyst substrate

摘要: Abstract Considering the importance of metal nano catalysts, this research tries to apply sputtered nanoparticles as catalyst for growing carbon nanotubes and studies effect metals in modifying catalytic property. One bilayer Cu Fe thin films were placed inside a quartz tube reactor synthesis using acetylene gas source argon cooling down from 850 °C room temperature. By scanning electron microscope images distribution diameter multi walled has recorded. The amounts ID/IG obtained Raman spectroscopy analysis showed best quality Cu-Fe bilayer. Both analyses indicate improve one transition by another one. On other hand, are confirmed both transmission microscopy images.
