Stress-induced muscle activity: a possible etiologic factor in denture soreness.

摘要: Abstract Patients wearing complete dentures were subjected to experimental stress. Those subjects with persistent generalized soreness of the mucous membrane underlying exhibited a prolonged form muscle activity associated stress, while normal relaxed progressively during experiment. The response stress may be an etiologic factor in chronic membrane.
