摘要: Many studies have shown that pollen and its preparation are ideal herbal remedies for the treatment of prostate diseases. Our previous study found polysaccharides from Chinese wolfberry (WPPs) can induce apoptosis cancer DU145 cells. But antitumor mechanism WPPs was not clearly understood. Therefore, in present study, we further investigated cells a xenograft mice model. The results showed decreased levels PI3K, AKT, p-AKT Bcl-2 proteins, increased expression Bax, caspase-3 caspase-9 (P < 0.05). vivo data demonstrated resulted significant dose-dependent increase (P < 0.05) number apoptotic tumor tissues. Immunohistochemical analysis activated were level xenografts on may involve regulation PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, which eventually promotes apoptosis. This provided experimental basis studied as possible functional food or adjuvant agent prevention cancer.
