摘要: Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness an arthroscopically placed intra-articular pain catheter for controlling postoperative and also review results following arthroscopic release refractor adhesive capsulitis. Type Study: Retrospective clinical trial. Methods: Twenty-three consecutive cases (20 patients) capsulitis in which used were reviewed. Follow-up ranged from 12 37 months (average, 22.4 months). An under direct visualization a superior approach into glenohumeral joint. Postoperatively, patients injected with 10 mL 0.5% bupivacaine every 6 hours as needed. Preoperatively, all had filled out questionnaire based on American Shoulder Elbow Surgeons (ASES) outcome guidelines examined range motion. asked their precatheter postcatheter injection level visual analog scale (1 points, 1 no pain). Patients then motion retested questionnaire. ASES Score Index calculated each patient before after procedure. Results: average forward elevation preoperatively 102° external rotation at side 4.5°. At most recent follow-up, 169° 47°. increased 37.1 100 90.9 (P .001). Before being anesthetic through catheter, score 8.1. Postinjection 1.2 .001) indicated that significantly reduced pain. Nineteen 20 satisfied Conclusions: Placement delivery highly effective In cases, essentially eliminated substantially assisted exercises. Near complete restoration without achieved 95% patients.
