摘要: Abstract The present study focused on age-related changes in nonhandicapped children's perceptions of the limitations and competencies wheelchair-bound peers. types that children form may determine whether handicapped are included school activities accepted by these Nonhandicapped kindergarten through third grade served as subjects were presented with stories about classroom helping tasks. “helpee” story was always a child. helper either or described temporarily impaired permanently impaired. Subjects asked to rate ability 5-point scale. results indicated first graders able differentiate between First perceived target more competent academic tasks motor involving hands than rely legs. By second grade, less difference targets for irrelevant disability. These discussed context developmental social reasoning processes during early childhood.
