Spin-Glass Transition in the RCoGaO_{4} (R=Lu, Yb) Layered Cobaltites

摘要: The frequency, temperature, and the dc ac dependences of magnetic susceptibility YbCoGaO4 LuCoGaO4 single crystals are investigated. behaves like an Ising spin glass with a strong uniaxial anisotropy. In contrast is Heisenberg-like glass. Dynamical scaling reveals three dimensional phase transition near Tg yields critical exponent values between those HeisenbergandIsing-like systems.
