Tensile and Deformation Behavior of Auxetic Plied Yarns

摘要: This paper presents an experimental study of tensile and deformation behavior auxetic plied yarn structure. The basic configuration the structure formed with two soft yarns stiff was firstly introduced. Based on this 4-ply helix structure, six kinds samples were made by different combinations yarns, twist levels. These first tested effects design parameters analyzed. Apart from test, changes in internal upon stretching also studied through microscopic examination. Finally, double 6-ply for a comparative purpose to investigate effect helical shows that all exhibit negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) throughout entire process, magnitude NPR gets larger smaller diameter, higher modulus lower level. inside is generated interplay between have advantages produce immediate stretching.
