摘要: Understanding how women use PrEP is important for developing successful implementation programs. We hypothesized there are distinct patterns of adherence, related to HIV risk and other factors. identified adherence behavior over the first 6 months use, using data from 233 HIV-uninfected in high-risk serodiscordant couples a demonstration project Kenya & Uganda. modeled assessed by daily electronic monitoring, group-based trajectory models. tested baseline covariates group as predictors patterns. There were four patterns: high steady (55% population), moderate (29%), late declining (8%), early (9%). No characteristics significantly differed between Adherence average weekly doses (6.7 vs 5.4 4.1 1.5, respectively). Two groups identified: (78% population) (22%). Compared with behavior, more likely have (61% 35%) less (6% 17%) or (4% 19%) adherence. Women's was associated concurrent behavior; higher higher, sustained
