iXOR-Intelligent XOR Using Holding-chi Strategy in Ad Hoc Networks

摘要: Network coding is a promising technology that increases the system throughput via reducing number of transmissions for packets delivered from source node to destination in saturated traffic scenario. Nevertheless, some can suffer metric end-to-end delay. Since it takes queuing delay intermediate wait other be encoded with (XOR). Therefore, this paper, we analyze according packet arrival rate and propose new network scheme, iXOR (Intelligent XOR). It reduces average even unsaturated load through Holding-χ strategy. Through an analysis extensive simulations, show better than general forwarding scheme (FWD) without XOR holding-χ strategy, χ=0, aspect as well delivery ratio.
