摘要: Abstract Air and particle motions in a bubbling fluidized bed of about 100,000 particles 310 μm diameter, which are classified as the B Geldart map, numerically simulated. Particle–particle interactions were calculated, using three-dimensional distinct element method (DEM). The Navier–Stokes equation Lagrangian type simultaneously solved, where drag lift forces on particles, multi-body collisions among mutual interaction between air taken into account. corresponding experiments also performed. It was found that calculated results describe well experimental instantaneous positions, enable us to know mechanisms bubble formation, coalescence disruption bed.
