摘要: Channel bonding proposed in IEEE 802.11ac has the potential to multiply physical data rate with wider bandwidths. However, backward compatibility legacy 802.11 devices makes available frequency resource severely underutilised. Furthermore, design that allocates entire extended bandwidth a single user is very inefficient when frame size small. In this study, authors propose novel channel access scheme, which successfully mitigated these two problems by scheduling multiuser parallel transmission both downlink and uplink. Simulation results show scheme can improve spectral efficiency of 801.11ac dramatically. addition, same as draft, guarantees devices, remains distributed contention based capability rates for devices.
