摘要: We have postulated that the lifetime protective effect of an early pregnancy against breast cancer is due to complete differentiation mammary gland characterized by a specific genomic signature imprinted physiological process pregnancy. In present work, we show evidence tissue postmenopausal parous women has had shifting stem cell 1 2 with different from similar structures derived nulliparous 1. Those genes are significantly grouped in major categories on basis their putative functional significance. Among them those gene transcripts related immune surveillance, DNA repair, transcription, chromatin structure/ activators/co-activators, growth factor and signal transduction pathway, transport trafficking, proliferation, differentiation, adhesion, protein synthesis metabolism. From these data, it was concluded during there significant changes reflect profound alterations basic physiology explain carcinogenesis. The implication this knowledge when protection or refractoriness carcinogenesis acquired 2, hormonal milieu induced pregnancy-like conditions no longer required. This novel concept challenges current chemopreventive agent needs be given for long period suppress metabolic pathway abrogate function organ.
