摘要: The development of next-generation sequencing technology has enabled researchers to explore and understand the gut microbiome from a broader deeper perspective. However, results different studies on microbiota are highly variable even in same disease, which makes it difficult guide clinical diagnosis treatment. ideal sampling method should be non-invasive, involve little cross-contamination or bowel preparation, collect at sites. Currently, technologies usually based samples collected feces, mucosal biopsy, intestinal fluid, etc. parts gastrointestinal tract possess various physiological characteristics that essential for particular species living microbiota. Moreover, current methods somewhat defective. For example, fecal just proxy microbiota, while biopsies invasive patients not suitable healthy controls. In this review, we summarize their advantages shortcomings. New technologies, such as Brisbane Aseptic Biopsy Device intelligent capsule, also mentioned inspire future precise description microbiome.
