摘要: A long, quasi-homogeneous cold plasma jet was generated through a homemade generating device. Friction-wear test and assisted cutting of Ti6Al4V were studied under air, nitrogen, nitrogen (NPJ) atmospheres. The friction coefficient small, the wear appearance smooth at low-speed friction. At high-speed friction, NPJ smallest, which declined by 70 % compared with that air atmosphere. scratches adhesive traces on surface lightest as well. lubrication cooling effects not evident cutting, whereas enabled radial force Fy average flank width VB to decrease nearly 40–47 respectively ones Results show has little influence roughness, residual stress, work hardening workpieces, while machinability can be effectively improved.
