Total Synthesis of the Proposed Structure of (+)-Tolyporphin AO,O-Diacetate

摘要: Four monocyclic precursors were assembled in the total synthesis of proposed structure 1-A (+)-tolyporphin A O,O-diacetate (X=Ac). Comparison spectroscopic data demonstrated that synthetic tolyporphin did not match prepared from natural (X=H), calling for a structural revision this class products. On basis series NMR experiments including intermediates, is concluded to be 1-B, which configurations quaternary centers C7 and C17 are opposite those originally structure.
