摘要: Serial networking dedicated fiber optic inflight entertainment (IFE) systems, methods therefor and components thereof, that exhibit improved configuration failover attributes through implementation of novel network protocols. In some aspects the invention, such an IFE system comprises a plurality head end line replaceable units (HE-LRUs) serial (SN-LRUs), wherein each SN-LRUs individually detects closed has been formed between HE-LRUs based on packets sourced by at least one received ports SN-LRUs, in response to detecting blocks its further SN-LRU is middle SN-LRU.
