摘要: Mycobacterium tuberculosis remains one of the top microbial killers humans causing approximately 2 million deaths annually. More than 90% billion individuals infected never develop active disease, indicating that immune system is able to generate mechanisms control infection. However, response generally fails achieve sterile clearance bacilli. Using adoptive cell transfer into C57BL/6J-Rag1(tm1Mom) mice (Rag1(-/-)), we show regulatory T cells prevent eradication tubercle bacilli by suppressing an otherwise efficient CD4+ response. This protective was not correlated with increased numbers IFN-gamma- or TNF-alpha-expressing general expression levels IFN-gamma inducible NO synthase in organs compared wild-type C57BL/6 animals. Furthermore, suppression protection cotransferred neither accompanied a increase IL-10 nor higher IL-10-producing cells.
