摘要: High cut-off (HCO) membranes are the new class of using in several applications like blood purification systems. In current study, efforts were based upon achieving HCO membrane with defined properties. Membrane pore collapse is most challenging problem recognized as an undesirable phenomenon occurring drying stage preparation. Herein, this was investigated detail. The results verified that further liquid surface tension, other parameters including viscosity, boiling point, polarity, and solubility can be effective on formation or prevention phenomenon. After preventing phenomenon, simultaneous effect low high molecular weights polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) to achieve evaluated. PVP-K90 used a hydrophilizing agent PVP-K17 weight polymer utilized pore-former additive. synergistic effects both grades PVP, provide appropriate features. Contact angle analysis indicated by incorporation casting solution, hydrophilicity increased tangibly. With addition more content higher than 3 wt%, pure water permeability (PWP) decreased. adding till 5 PWP enhanced significantly which confirmed property Moreover, mean diameter subsequently MWCO value MTT endorsed biocompatibility membranes.
