摘要: Abstract The nitrogen distribution in plasma nitrided austenitic stainless steel at moderate temperatures is explained by non-Fickian diffusion model. model involves of induced internal stresses created during nitriding process. For mathematical description stress process the equation barodiffusion used which concentration dependent coefficient. calculation gradient it assumed that depth profile linearly relates with profile. fitting done using experimental curves profiles for 1Cr18Ni9Ti two different fluxes. Fitting good agreement both cases. coefficient D = 1.68 × 10 −12 cm 2 s −1 temperature 380 °C was found from fitting.
