摘要: A high-resolution computerized calorimeter capable of fully automatic operation in either ac or relaxation modes is described. Emphasis given to a new version the technique which heater power ramped linearly time. This improvement results superior performance and convenience studying both first- second-order phase transitions allows quantitative evaluation latent heats as well pretransitional heat capacity variations. Examples are for use this study liquid crystal transitions.
