摘要: Four groups of female Swiss Webster mice were given either laboratory chow or a purified (semi-synthetic) diet (AIN-76A) ad libitum at 75% the rate for about 30 days. Three tissues, crypt cells jejunum, dermis and basal epithelial esophagus investigated using [3H]thymidine labelling by counting mitoses; four other alveolar mammary gland, duodenum colo-rectum, transitional urinary bladder examined only. In each case dietary restriction led to reduction cellular proliferation assessed these indices. The potential approach study effects modification on induction cancer is discussed.
