摘要: In the latter part of 20th century, sharing personal feelings and information has become hallmark a close relationship. North America, gradual exchange intimate about one’s inner self is considered major process through which relationships between people develop. Most theories relational growth equate development with increasingly more (Bochner, 1983). Although such theoretical work stresses centrality self-disclosure (e. g., Altman & Taylor, 1973), very little recent research actually examined what function in established relationships. One classic exception to this rule Komarovksy (1964) who shows that open communication, although central satisfactory functioning some marriages, are clearly not all important couples many stable blue-collar marriages. The degree expressiveness communication partners vital marital various other social class groupings remains an question.
