摘要: Within the framework of strong-coupling polaron theory ground-state binding energy and effective mass electron-LO phonon system is retrieved as a function dimensionality in quantum-well confinement. The geometry used three-dimensional parabolic potential box, barrier slopes which can be tuned so to yield unified characterization interpolating between bulk, quasi-two- one-dimensional limits well box case.
