摘要: This work develops the Spectral Element Method (SPEM) for wave-propagation simulation in transversely isotropic media. The advantages of SPEM compared to low-order nite elements are high accuracy, and possibility using less grid points per minimum wavelength. In addition, is more exible than conventional di erences pseudospectral methods describing problems with complex geometries. present formulation best suited study wave propagation heterogeneous anisotropic media as, example, needed geophysics. A comparison analytical solution a two-dimensional homogeneous medium shows that method highly accurate predicting eld.
