摘要: Establishment of small patches forest in the form sacred groves is a universal human phenomenon not associated with any specific religion or worldview but strong religious context influenced by traditional local beliefs. In many regions world, have major effects on conservation due to taboos and restrictions them. It has been believed that virgin forests date back several thousands years when society was primitive state all forms vegetation were supposed be under protection reigning deity grove, removal even twig taboo. Long before existence officially protected areas as we now know them, people protecting lands. Sacred are probably oldest method habitat planet still large mainly unrecognized network sanctuaries around world. Thus role biodiversity long recognized (reviewed Bhagwat Rutte 2006; Khan et al. 2008).
