摘要: Abstract Mass spectrometric methods are used for an investigation of the C–O bond formation between alkynes and alcohols mediated by cationic gold(I) complexes. In condensed-phase catalysis, efficient coupling to corresponding enol ethers has been observed. gas phase, however, kinetic entropic restrictions too large both bare Au+ as well (CH3)3PAu+ permit in strictly bimolecular collisions occurring at thermal energies. The experimental findings complemented a theoretical study Au+/C2H2/CH3OH system using density functional theory.
