摘要: Children suffering from disabilities require special care that may influence their family environment and result in parental stress. The objective of this study was to assess the effectiveness a stress-management program for parents with disabled children. experimental procedure included pre-test, post-test 6-month follow-up evaluation stress levels, adaptation coping strategies. Seven 90-min long group sessions were held once week satisfaction assessed. principal aspects strategies conceptualization, relaxation training, control breathing, cognitive restructuring sense guilt, training on skills, problem-solving, rewarding activities, improving self-esteem, assertive communication, importance humor optimism, value social support.
